PETITION TARGET: Tulsa County District Attorney Steve Kunzweiler
Snow-covered kennels in the bitter cold with water bowls frozen solid: These are the conditions in which dozens of helpless dogs were found suffering — along with the lifeless bodies of several puppies — in Tulsa County, Oklahoma, according to local news.
More dogs were discovered inside the residence — crammed in filthy, overcrowded kennels. Authorities managed to rescue 39 dogs, but tragically, five pups were dead.
The rescued dogs are being cared for by the Humane Society of Tulsa and Oklahoma Alliance for Animals.
Three men have been arrested in connection with this case. Each man faces 44 counts of felony animal cruelty, according to Fox 23 News. Law enforcement reportedly suspects the individuals were involved in a breeding operation.
No innocent companion animal deserves to be trapped, freezing and thirsty, in a dirty cage.
Sign our petition urging the Tulsa County District Attorney to prosecute these men to the fullest extent of the law — including a lifelong ban on having animals.
