Door Dash seems to be sabotaging their dashers in Boyne City, Michigan. They lure dashers to the 'zone" saying it's busy, then dashers sit around for hours waiting for an offer. then door Dash sends them offers 20 miles away in another town for not enough pay to even pay for gas, much less wear and tear on their vehicles. If a dasher declines a ridiculous offer, Door Dash lowers their Acceptance Ratings. An even worse nitemare is when door Dash sends an offer for Family fare Floral, which is a joke. Door Dash is under the impression that Family Fare will offer support or assistance to a Dasher. Family Fare's (ahem) "manager" knows nothing about the flowers and Door Dash offers no description. I saw a dasher look up an image of some flowers only to find that Family Fare does not have the flowers that were ordered. This is inconsiderate both on the part of Door Dash and Family Fare. A dasher went to the zone on Mother's Day only to have their acceptance rating decreased for the Family Fare Floral orders that could not be filled due to the flowers not being available. No customer support for dashers to turn to either. With Trump's gas prices being so high, it's hard for them to break even, much less profit. McDonald's is another troublesome order to fill because McDonald's in Boyne doesn't train their staff how to print receipts. The app dashers use requires a photo of the receipt to proceed with the delivery. There's often a rude response stating that they don't print receipts to dashers just trying fulfill their orders there. Door Dash needs to be more considerate of their dashers. They shouldn't penalize them for declining a ridiculous order. Then the app only allows a few seconds to peruse an offer before removing it and lowering their acceptance rating. The company seems to be actively sabotaging their dashers.
